The Sambala Investment

"Sambala Resort's investment in tourism and property development is a symbol of the new future we want to build in Cape Verde" - Prime Minister of Cape Verde - Jose Maria Neves

Why Invest in Sambala Resort property?
Sambala developments offers the investor a chance to capitalise early on the expected gains offered from buying Cape Verde property.

Situated on 20sq km of independently owned coastal land, and just 15 minutes from Praia international airport, buyers will be able to gain impressive rental return as well as capital gains expected in the next few years.

Whilst properties are available off-plan at competitive rates, Sambala village, the first phase of the resort, is currently being built and has commenced handovers for some units ahead of the resort opening by 2009. This will offer the investor today an instant rental return when the future properties are completed. Sambala is well ahead of any other developer on Santiago Island in this respect.

Sambala have demonstrated commitment to the future of the resort by investing considerable sums towards infrastructure. €8 million has already been spent on Electricity, sewage, of which €3.6 million has been spent on the water desalination plant.

The reverse osmosis desalination plant re-uses 85% of its power through an energy recovery system. This system is the most energy efficient system available on the market. The pressure exchange energy recovery system allows the plant to produce fresh water at an electrical requirement of less than 3.5kWh per cubic meter of product water compared to about 10 to 12 kWh with conventional systems. We are thus able to recover approximately 95% of the concentrate pressure. This enables 85% recovery of the concentrate pressure. This means that the system uses only one third of the energy used in normal desalination plants.

Sambala has committed an additional €5.2 Million on Irrigation, roads, footpaths, CCTV and street lighting.
