Phil joined the Sambala team in April 2005 and was instrumental in establishing the Sambala brand in the UK. He is dedicated and enthusiastic about the development and has visited Cape Verde on numerous occasions. He has a wealth of knowledge about the development and the buying process in Cape Verde.

Sandra Moreno
Sandra Joined the Sambala team in August 2005. Born on the Island of Santiago in Cape Verde, she relocated to Portugal when she was 8, and then moved to the UK in 1999 to take a degree in modern language/ translating &Interpreting at Liverpool University. She speaks 5 languages including Portuguese and Creole and has a thorough knowledge of the Cape Verde property market. She is passionate about her country's unique and rich culture.

Ben Podesta
Ben joined the Sambala team in October 2005. Previous to this he had led a successful 14 year career in central London property most recently with Knight Frank. He is an early investor and the owner of a completed Sambala Village town house. "As an employee I was drawn to Sambala because it is a one-off; an absolutely unique, never again, opportunity. As an investor I chose Santiago Island because it has a great future."
