Where is Cape Verde?
The Cape Verde Islands are located in the Mid- Atlantic Ocean 450Km off the west coast of Africa and is Europe's closest tropical Island chain. The archipelago includes 10 islands, divided into the windward and Leeward groups benefiting from stunning weather all year round.
About Santiago
Santiago is the largest of all the Islands with over 1000 square kilometres of pristine mountain interior to explore with some very impressive peaks of up to 5,000 feet. The Pico d' Antonio is breathtaking especially when set against the dramatic deep blue ocean and deserted sandy bays.
Climate
The weather in Cape Verde is consistently good with temperatures averaging 22-27 degrees all year round. The Island's latitude within the tropic of Cancer means no hurricanes.
