Expats 'have more money and better health' after moving abroad
A new survey has discovered that Brits living abroad are happy that they did so and feel that they have a better lifestyle in their new countries.
A new survey has discovered that Brits living abroad are happy that they did so and feel that they have a better lifestyle in their new countries.
According to the latest NatWest International Personal Banking Quality of Life Index, 92 per cent of British expats said they are happier living abroad than they were in the UK.
When it comes to finance, 90 per cent feel that they are better off now they live abroad, while another 68 per cent believe that they lead healthier lifestyles.
New Zealand was the most popular destination for Brits to live and work, followed by Canada and Australia. South Africa, Spain, the US and Hong Kong also made the top ten.
If its sunny climes and stunning scenery that Brits are looking for in a new home, they need look no further than Cape Verde, as the country boasts all this and more, in the opinion of Guardian journalist Ursula Kenny.
