Tourism agency chief: We will make Cape Verde property attractive The new chairman of a Cape Verde investment firm has pledged to make the country more attractive to foreigners seeking Overseas property in the region. Rui Cardoso dos Santos, the new chairman of investment and tourism promotion agency Cabo Verde Investimentos (CVInvest), has said his organisation intends to make Cape Verde property more attractive to potential investors. The executive, speaking in capital city Praia last week, said that the means by which investors are encouraged to Invest in Cape Verde property will be reviewed and strengthened, reports Macauhub. He also said that the country will be promoted as a "safe and attractive" place in which to invest and pay visits to. A centre which administers advice and support for potential financiers is a top priority for CVInvest in the future, according to the chairman. In the opinion of Abel Sanchez, who owns a bed and breakfast in Cidade Velha, further developments on the Cape Verdean island Santiago would benefit the country's economy greatly, VOANews reports.
